A gateway at your site reads the connected equipment over CAN bus, Modbus RTU/TCP or SNMP.

Readings are sent to XESS Cloud over an encrypted connection, and held at the site if the internet drops — so a bad connection delays them rather than losing them.

Readings land on servers in Sydney as they arrive, and are written straight to durable storage.
